Fruits

Apples

Apples are low in fat, saturated fat free, sodium free, cholesterol free, and are an excellent source of fiber. Substances present in apples are phytochemicals that are thought to reduce the incidence of cancer. These include quercetin, ellagic acid, and caffeic acid.

Apricots

Apricots are low in fat, and are saturated fat free, sodium free, and cholesterol free. They are also high in vitamins A and C, and are a good source of potassium.

Banana

Bananas are low in fat and contain no saturated fat, sodium, or cholesterol. They are also a good source of fiber, vitamin C, and potassium.

Blueberries

Blueberries are low in fat and contain no saturated fat, sodium, or cholesterol. They are also a good source of fiber and vitamin C. Blueberries contain phytochemicals that are thought to reduce the incidence of cancer. These include quercetin, kaempferol, ligins, catechins, and tannins.

Cherries

Cherries are low in fat and contain no saturated fat, sodium, or cholesterol. Cherries are also a good source of fiber and vitamin C.

Mango

Peaches

Peaches contain no fat, cholesterol, or sodium. They are also very high in vitamins A and C.

Pineapples are free of fat and cholesterol, are very low in sodium, and are high in vitamin C. Among substances present in pineapples contain phytochemicals that re thought to reduce the incidence of cancer. These include phenols and quercitin.

Strawberries

Strawberries are free of fat, sodium, and cholesterol and are a good source of dietary fiber. They are also a great source of vitamin C and folate. Among substances present in strawberries contain phytochemicals that are thought to reduce the incidence of cancer. These include catechins, flavonoids, phenolsm, and tannins.

Vegetables

Sweet Corn

Sweet corn is low in fat and contains no saturated fat or cholesterol. It is also very low in sodium and a good source of vitamin C. Although many factors affect the development of heart diseases, diets low in saturated fat and cholesterol may reduce the risk of this disease.
